McLeod Bethel-Thompson was born July 3, 1988 and is an American professional Canadian football quarterback for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. He played college football at UCLA and Sacramento State. He is the grandson of the 1948 Olympic shot put champion Wilbur 'Moose' Thompson. Bethel-Thompson is a journeyman quarterback having been a member of five different NFL teams, two CFL teams, and one team in both the Arena Football League and the United Football League.
